Muplist Ointment

Muplist Ointment is a topical antibacterial formulation containing Mupirocin (2% w/w), designed to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, folliculitis, and minor cuts or wounds infected with susceptible strains of bacteria. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thus preventing the growth of bacteria on the skin. This ointment is applied directly to the affected area and is particularly effective against Staphylococcus aureus (including MRSA) and Streptococcus species. The water-soluble base allows for easy application and absorption without leaving a greasy residue, making it suitable for both adults and children under medical supervision.
